Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the game Valeshard: Hero Defense (“the game”) handles and why. The game is made by the Valeshard team (“we”). You can reach us at support@valeshard.com.
In short: the game has no accounts, no ads and no third-party tracking. Your progress stays on your device. If you allow it, the game sends us anonymous information about how the game is played, which you can switch off at any time.
1. Your progress stays on your device
Your save (stages cleared, stars, heroes, crystals and settings) is stored only on your device. We do not receive it. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes it.
2. Anonymous play data
To learn which stages are too hard, where players stop and whether downloads work, the game sends short anonymous records to our server at data.valeshard.com:

These records do not include your name, email, account, phone number, advertising ID, device ID, contacts, photos or precise location, and they are not linked to you or to any other app or website. We do not use them for advertising or tracking, and we do not sell or share them.
Your choice: open Settings in the game and switch Share anonymous play data off. The game then deletes the records still waiting on your device and sends nothing more. Starting the story over does not switch it back on.
How long we keep it: up to 24 months, after which records are deleted automatically.
3. Game data downloads
To keep the installed app small, the game downloads parts of its content (pictures, models and music for each chapter) from packs.valeshard.com. These downloads send no personal information; your device only asks for a file by name.
4. Our service provider
Our server and downloads run on Cloudflare. Like any website, Cloudflare receives your device's IP address when the game connects, in order to deliver the data and protect the service. We do not store IP addresses with the play data. Cloudflare's own handling is described in its privacy policy.
5. Children
The game is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, and the play data described above cannot identify a person.
6. Your rights
Because the play data is anonymous and not linked to you, we cannot find, show or delete the records of a particular person. You can stop all sending at any time with the switch in Settings. If you have a question or a request, write to support@valeshard.com.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the game ever starts collecting other information, the new version of this policy will say so before that happens.
